Saint Christopher School Celebrates Mary’s Birthday

Third graders from Saint Christopher School celebrated the birthday of our Blessed Mother.

Students at Saint Christopher School recently celebrated the Blessed Mother’s birthday. Kindergarteners listened to a story about Mary and discussed her importance to our Catholic faith.

In second grade, students drew portraits of Mary to honor her special day. One second grader said, “It is important to celebrate Mary because she is the mother of Jesus, the light of our world.”

In third grade, students completed a project that displayed different titles given to Mary. After tallying votes, Morning Star and Queen of Heaven were two of 3rd grade’s favorite titles.

Students were excited to say, “Yes!” to celebrating Mary, just as Mary said, “Yes!” to God.
