Saint Lucy Food and Fun Fest

October marked the 30th anniversary of the Saint Lucy Food and Fun Fest! Fun Fest is more than a typical school carnival fundraiser. It is a weekend-long celebration of the Saint Lucy School Community, drawing large crowds of school families, grandparents, parishioners, alumni families, and people from the city of Campbell and surrounding areas. This is a festival for all ages, filled with gourmet food, fabulous bands and entertainment, an alumni reception, carnival rides family games, and both a live and silent auction.

Every year, the school honors parent volunteers who are graduating out of Saint Lucy School, working their final Fun Fest shifts as current parents. Pictured here with a crown is parent volunteer Steve Ciari, who has co-chaired the BBQ booth for well over a decade, and is ‘graduating’ after 5 children and 17 years at Saint Lucy School.

Principal Sue Grover added, “Twenty-two families celebrated their last official Fun Fest. It was wonderful to still see their excitement carry over the years. They will be missed!”
