Saint Leo the Great Celebrates Reading

A dot is a dot is a dot……well, not if one is taking the advice given in Peter H. Reynolds book, “The Dot.” Students at Saint Leo the Great Catholic School celebrated International Dot Day by using the mantra from the book, “start with a mark and see where it takes you!” Art education is an important aspect in the curriculum at Saint Leo’s. The students were given a task of starting with just one dot and were taught that every mark matters. The students were obviously inspired! These “marks” turned into beautiful artwork!
