Holy Spirit School is proud to announce that students Andy Apodaca, Bianca Scipioni, Ellen Duncan, Hannah Votaw, Mateo Scipioni and Mia Apodaca took First Place in their division at the Silicon Valley Odyssey of the Mind Tournament.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics.

The team representing Holy Spirit School was challenged to create and present an original performance that included one of Aesop’s fables and its moral, going viral in any time period before 1800 AD. Our students received many compliments from judges and audience for their artistic creativity and use of humor in the performance. The team has advanced to the next level and will continue to represent Holy Spirit School at the State Tournament taking place at UC Riverside, on April 2.
