Representatives from The Santa Clara Valley Water District’s Education Outreach Program visited Saint John the Baptist School on January 13. Each representative performed a different age-appropriate level presentation for Kindergarten, grades 1, 3 and 6. Each group of students learned about many interesting facts including water pollution in the bay, water sources, and the importance of water conservation. The presentations were interactive and entertaining because of the plays, stories and activities performed. The students were really excited to get their own five minute timers to place in their shower so that they can help make a difference in the drought our state is facing right now.
