Saint Lucy Students Welcome Prospective Families

Saint-LucyJanuary begins a time of increased admissions interest for fall enrollment in our Diocesan schools.

At Saint Lucy School, parents are invited to schedule private tours during the school day, as well as attend information nights in the evening. Pre-Kindergarteners and Kindergarteners showcased their class projects, reading, and writing skills at the January parent information nights. Pre-Kindergarten students recited the “Angel of God” prayer and explained to our visitors what they loved about Pre-K at Saint Lucy. Those who attended were amazed that they were only 4 years old! They spoke of their friends and playtime as their favorite things about their school.

The Kindergarteners were just as enthusiastic about their school. They proudly twirled around as they modeled our school uniform, and told the crowd how they love cooking projects, computers, music, and learning about God.

Jr. High students also acted as school ambassadors during the annual January Open House. They introduced prospective families to all aspects of our school program, and shared what it was like to transfer into SLS as a transfer student in grades 1-8.
