On November 24, Saint John the Baptist School celebrated Grandparents/Special Persons Day.
It is a special day that Saint John’s celebrate during Thanksgiving holiday. Guests arrived and were guided by student council members to the various classrooms where specially planned activities awaits them. From simple conversations, to arts and crafts, and singing & dance performances, our guests truly enjoyed the well-deserved attention students gave to them.
Students also had the chance to sit with their grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other guests during recess and enjoyed the treats provided. The school staff led the Thanksgiving Mass presided by Father Ritche Bueza where grandparents were given a special blessing for the gift of love and wisdom they share with their family and grandchildren.
