This year’s Santa Clara Faith Formation Conference will have a slightly different look when it is held December 5-7: its location. The conference is moving to the San Jose Convention Center.
The conference is sponsored by the Dioceses of Monterey and San Jose in partnership with the Leadership Roundtable and in collaboration with diocesan offices from the Archdiocese of San Francisco and the Dioceses of Fresno, Stockton and Oakland.
Over the two previous years the conference has seen close to 6,000 attendees from across Northern California and beyond attend workshops in English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) that highlight the importance of faith development at all levels of church and society, aimed at adults to enrich their faith and strengthen their knowledge and skills to be effective ministers in the Church and indeed the world.
The Conference Core Team has begun its planning for the next conference to make it the best yet. Father John Hurley, Vicar for Evangelization for the Diocese of San Jose asks that these dates be put into all diocesan and parish calendars to avoid any conflicts with participation.
