The Middle School students of Saint Lawrence Elementary and Middle School (SLEMS) have the opportunity of joining an after-school 3D Design course taught by Middle School Teacher, John Schmitt.

During the meeting times, students design and draw 3D objects using modern tools (TinkerCAD).

When reflecting on their class during Parent-teacher conference week, Mr. Schmitt said “In just a few hours, the students’ creations took shape.  It’s amazing to see what they can learn as they work together, focus, try their best, and embrace challenges with shared passion.”

The designs of the students were shared on SLEM’S social media pages, highlighting their hard work and creativity. The 3D Design class is just one example of the fun and vibrant Saint Lawrence Elementary and Middle School Community, led by parent and teacher volunteers to enrich the lives of the students and encourage their growth.
