There is no greater need in the Catholic Church today than to assist our younger generations in understanding the Holy Eucharist. Such understanding is crucial to having greater participation in their Catholic faith.
It is through the Holy Eucharist that our soul is linked with the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord. There is no greater way to demonstrate love of our Lord. It is through the Eucharist that we accept his invitation to “Do This in Memory of Me.”
In recent generations we in the Church have been far too remiss in teaching our younger generation that it is through the Eucharist that we can best observe his command to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. It is the Sacrament of Divine Love.
Our Catechism notes that the Eucharist is the “sum and summary of the Catholic faith.” When we teach that we will again have greater participation of our younger generation in their Catholic faith.
