The legacy of the charism of the Sisters of the Presentation will be carried forth in the spirit of Nano Nagle.
Presentation Associate and Learning and Loving Education Center, Executive Director, Christa Hanson, says, “All of the staff and volunteers feel blessed to share in the ministry of the Learning and Loving Education Center. The education and empowerment of these immigrant women fulfills not only their lives but ours as well. We thank the City of Morgan Hill for this honor and look forward to sharing the Learning and Loving Education Center with many more people in South County.”
The Learning and Loving Education Center endeavors to work with women for change through education, and to support them in the process. Daytime classes strive to increase literacy, teach computer skills, improve and enrich the lives of the students, empower women to achieve higher education and better jobs, improve health care, and improve self-esteem for a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
